Assignments & Class agendas for Web design Classes

Week 5: Feb 27 - Mar 2

  • Complete: HTML Lesson 4 - creating hyperlinks
  • Complete: HTML Lesson 5 - centering, changing font styles, creating lists
  • Complete: Photoshop Lesson 6 - cropping, selections
  • Complete: Photoshop Lesson 7 - transparency
  • Complete: Collage Project
    - when complete: write an essay (tnr regular 12 font, double spaced) with clear introductory and concluding paragraphs. Just email it to me when done. Think about the project and using Photoshop - difficult? easy? do the lessons help? good project? get rid of it? Also, let me know what special effects you used and any other technical things about the collage you would like me to know. Include a description of why some of the images are there - I don't need a list of every single one, but things that clearly mean something to you may not be so obvious to the casual observer. This should be at least one full page but you will most likely need more.

Week 4: Feb 13 - Feb 17

  • Test 2 on Friday - (review the vocabulary-w page and the assignment-w page)
  • Complete: HTML page 3
  • Continue: Collage Project

Week 2: jan 30 - Feb 3

If you see a message like either one above - do not click on it - this is a scam - Internet Antivirus 2011 is just another virus program. Use CTRL+ Alt Delete and end the task rather than trying to click the X out of it. Always be cautious about any "uninvited guests" - programs that just show up and want you to reply to a dialog box. On a Mac you can choose Force Quit from the apple menu.

Week 1: Jan 25 - Jan 27
